Patrick Smith

Patrick Smith (“Patrick”) is a lifelong resident of Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from St. Xavier High School with honors in 2006. He then graduated summa cum laude with his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Louisville in 2010.

Patrick had always dreamed about being a lawyer and subsequently chose to attend the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. He served as both a member of and as an Articles Editor for the University of Louisville Law Review. Additionally, he was invited to join the Brandeis Society. During his third year of law school, he was selected to serve as a pupil in the Louis D. Brandeis Inn of Court. He graduated cum laude from the law school in 2013.

In 2013, Patrick obtained his license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Since that time, Patrick has exclusively practiced personal injury law. He has litigated a wide variety of cases, including but not limited to medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, car wrecks, and premises liability. He has handled these cases from start to finish. He has also participated in several trials.

Patrick is presently admitted to practice law in State Courts across the Commonwealth of Kentucky as well as the Western District of Kentucky (Federal Court). He is a member of the Kentucky Justice Association, the American Association for Justice, the Kentucky Bar Association, and the Louisville Bar Association.

Outside of work, Patrick loves to spend time with his wonderful wife, his daughters, and his energetic puppy. He also enjoys attending sporting events, reading books, and hiking.
